On June 3, 2022, Brian Tyers, Diplomat of the US Embassy in Tashkent, and Saida Musakhanova, Public Affairs Officer of the Embassy, visited the Urgench branch of TUIT. During the visit, a meeting was held on the results of the project, which was implemented from May 3 to June 3, 2022 under a grant from the US Embassy in Uzbekistan under the Fulbright Specialist Program. The meeting was attended by the director of the branch MI Baidjanov, Deputy Director for Scientific Affairs Sh. Ismoilov, heads of departments and professors. The director of the branch MI Baidjanov noted that the project based on the Fulbright Specialist Program has made a significant contribution to improving the quality of education and teacher capacity.
As part of the project, Amos Omotayo Olagunju, Information Technology Specialist, Honorary Professor of Information Technology and Computer Engineering, Saint Cloud State University, USA, was involved in the Department of Software Engineering from May 3 to June 3, 2022 as a foreign professor.

From May 5, 2022 to June 3, 2022, according to the schedule approved by the branch, conducted a lecture and practical training on the subject "Introduction to Software Engineering" for students of the English language group. Students regularly participated in lectures and workshops. In addition, the branch organized master classes, seminars and trainings for heads of departments, professors, masters on conducting research, writing scientific articles, improving curricula.
