    2-PLEDGE-(Innovative and interdisciplinary Programs in Bio-medical Engineering to Leverage and Exploit the Digital Growth program for student's employability in UZ) project to create innovative and interdisciplinary programs in biomedical engineering using the digital growth program for student employability in Uzbekistan directed.

    US Embassy in Uzbekistan Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship grant

    From September 13, 2022 to July 31, 2023, Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship Program Specialist Ottilie Marie Cooper Ohm has been recruited as an English language teaching specialist at the branch. Ottilie Marie Cooper is currently teaching English in collaboration with English teachers. Also, speaking clubs are organized for branch professors and students.

    US Embassy in Uzbekistan Fulbright Specialist Program grant

    On the basis of the grant, Amos Omotayo Olagunju, honorary professor of the Department of Information Technologies and Computer Engineering of the Saint Cloud University of the United States, was recruited as a foreign professor teacher of the Department of "Software Engineering" from May 3 to June 3, 2022. From May 5, 2022 to June 3, 2022, he conducted lectures and practical sessions on "Introduction to Software Engineering" for students of the English language group based on the schedule approved by the branch. Also, master-classes, seminar-trainings were organized for the heads of branch departments, professors, and graduate students on the topics of conducting scientific research, writing scientific articles, and improving curricula.

    The Urganch branch of the Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khorazmi is implementing the following projects in cooperation with the German University of Oldenburg:

    Smart Modeling

    The Ministry of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan will finance 1/3 of the funding, and the German Federal Ministry of Education and Scientific Research will finance 2/3. Grant amount for TATU Urganch branch is 30,000 euros.

    The goal of the project is to develop modern software and applications (i.e. "smart x" - "smart home", "smart city", "smart car", "smart network", etc.) using the Internet (IoT). directed.

    2019 On June 22-28, a workshop was held in the framework of the project at the Urganch branch of TATU. The main goal is to develop scientific and technical cooperation between Germany and Uzbekistan. This program is a project within the framework of cooperation between TATU and the software engineering group of the University of Oldenburg, and the exchange of experience between these partner universities is envisaged.

     Sustainability and Mobility in the Context of Smart Cities (2019), funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research, grant amount 20,000 euros for TATU Urganch branch.

    This project aims to develop the scientific and technological basis of development and support of software programs and platforms in the context of smart cities.
