Cooperation with Vellore Institute of Technology Chennai (VIT Chennai) is expanding
On September 24, 2024, representatives of the prestigious Vellore Institute of Technology Chennai (VIT Chennai) of India visited the Urganch branch of TATU named after Muhammad al-Khorazmi.
During the visit, at first, a meeting was held between branch management led by Branch Director Shukurullah Ismailov and Director of International Relations Office of Vellore Institute of Technology, Chennai University, India Syed Ibrahim, Professor Natesanmudaliar Chokkalingam Lenin, Professor Subbaiah Geetha and Professor Varatharaj Arunkumar, Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering. took place.
During the cordial dialogue, it was recognized that the long-term friendly relations between Uzbekistan and India in the field of education are expanding. Opinions were exchanged about the peculiarities of both universities in the field of technology. The guests also talked about the knowledge and activities of the students of our branch at Vellore University.
The main purpose of the visit is to send professors and teachers of both universities to scientific internships through exchange programs, to implement academic mobility of students, to conduct joint scientific research projects at the international level, and to establish long-term cooperation relations in the future.
Also, the guests were introduced to the conditions created for scientific research of students and professors at the branch. During the presentation, the guests especially recognized that so much attention is paid to education at the small branch.
