Excerpt from the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Education No. LRU-637 of September 23, 2020:

Article 11. Higher education

      Higher education provides training for highly qualified personnel in bachelor and master's programs.

     Training of higher education personnel is carried out in higher education institutions (universities, academies, institutes, colleges). General secondary (eleven years of education), specialized secondary (nine years of basic secondary and two years of specialized secondary education), primary vocational education (up to people who have completed one year of basic secondary and two years of primary vocational education), as well as secondary special, vocational education (nine years of general secondary and three years of education) before the entry into force of this Law Persons with secondary special, vocational education) have the right to higher education.
