The Faculty of Telecommunication Technologies was established on the basis of order No. 595 of September 3, 2018 of the Urganch branch of the Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khorazmi. Based on the order of September 2, 2020 No. 78n of the Urganch branch of the Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khorazmi, the name of the Faculty of Telecommunication Technologies and Vocational Education was changed to the Faculty of Telecommunication Technologies. In 2018-2019, Rakhimboyev Khikmat Jumanazarovich worked as the dean of the Faculty of Telecommunication Technologies and Vocational Education. In 2019-2020, Avezov Nodirbek Egamberganovich worked as the dean of the faculty. Since 2020, Avazov Erkinjon Sherimmatovich has been working as the dean of the faculty. In 2018-2020, Avazov Erkinjon Sherimmatovich worked as the deputy dean for working with youth, and Akhmedov Gulomjon Jumanazarovich has been working since 2020. In 2018-2019, Matyokubov O'tkir Karimovich worked as the deputy dean for academic affairs, and from 2019 until now, Khusinov Hamid Khudaiberganovich is working as the deputy dean for academic affairs. The Faculty of Telecommunication Technologies carries out training of specialists (in the field of education and specialties) separately from production. In order to expand and strengthen the integration of education, science and production of the faculty, the departments of the faculty are working under large industry enterprises (Uzbektelecom AK Khorazm Branch, Telecommunication Transport Networks Link No. 9, Uzbektelekom AK UzMobayl Khorazm Branch, UzNET) branches are opened. The Faculty of Telecommunication Technologies is considered an educational-scientific and administrative unit of the Urganch branch of TATU named after Muhammad al-Khorazmi, and trains students in relevant educational areas and specialists in accordance with the national program of personnel training. - is engaged in the coordination of scientific and research work of the departments that are part of the faculty, to ensure that educational processes are carried out organically and harmoniously.
