Khojayev Otabek Kadambayevich
The department was originally established in 2005 under the name of Informatics and IT. In 2005-2007, the department was managed by associate professor Yusupov F. In 2007-2010, Ph.D. Sharipov M.S. led by Since 2009, the department has been operating under the name of "Information Technologies" department. In 2010-2012, the department was taught by Ph.D. Rakhimov B.S. led by In 2013-2017, Ph.D. Reyimberganov A.A. worked as the head of the department. In 2018-2019, Ph.D. Halmuratov O.U. worked as the head of the department. Currently, a total of 26 professors and teachers are working in the "Information Technologies" department. Since 2019, the department has been headed by Ph.D O.K. Khojayev, Doctor of Philosophy in Technical Sciences.
Scientific works and directions at the department:
Most of the professors of the department 05.01.04 - Mathematical and software of computing machines, systems and computer networks (in technical sciences) conduct their scientific work. Currently, the department is conducting scientific research in the following areas of this specialty.
• Method of design and analysis of software and software systems, models and algorithms, representation, testing and confirmation of their equivalence (item 1);
• Method, model, algorithm, programming language and software tools for organizing the relationship between software and software systems (item 3);
• Information and knowledge base management systems (item 4);
• Human-machine interface; methods, models, algorithms and software applications for machine graphics, image processing, virtual reality systems, multimedia communication (item 7);
In the academic year 2021/2022, associate professor of the department Temur Arturovich Khudayberganov will complete his Ph.D. at Seoul National University of Science and Technology, South Korea. successfully defended his case. Department assistant Iskandarov Sanjar Kuvondiqovich will receive his Ph.D. at Tashkent University of Information Technologies in November 2021. successfully defended his work. The senior teacher of the department, Rakhimbayev Khikmat Jumanazarovich, will receive his Ph.D. at the Tashkent University of Information Technologies in December 2021. successfully defended his work.
Professor teachers and graduate students of the department are conducting scientific research in the following areas:
- Intelligent data analysis
- Machine learning and deep learning systems
- Embedded systems and their software
- Artificial intelligence - Distributed systems and algorithms
The department is currently conducting research on the following topics as part of scientific and technical projects and as part of scientific work:
- Development of an intelligent analysis software tool for decision-making support systems
- Optimization of video image processing algorithms of dynamic objects in a video surveillance system
- Models and software for analysis of large volumes of data based on parallel and distributed computing technologies
