Scientific works and directions at the department:

          The Department of Information Security was established in 2022 within the Faculty of Computer Engineering. The goal of the department is to train highly qualified information security specialists for the Republic of Uzbekistan. Currently, 2 professors, 1 associate professor, 3 senior teachers, 3 assistant teachers and 1 trainee teacher are conducting pedagogical and scientific research work in the department. To date, 1 monograph and 2 training manuals have been prepared by the professors-teachers of the department. The total number of subjects taught at the department is 24, and their working programs, calendar plans and lecture texts have been prepared. Bachelor's degree in 60610200 - "Information security" and master's degree in 70610202 - "Information security" study in the department. In recent years, more than 22 scientific articles have been published by professors and teachers. Also, 2 independent researchers are working in the department.
