Scientific works and directions at the department:

     The department was established in 2005 under the name of "Humanities and socio-economic sciences". Candidate of philological sciences, associate professor G. Halliyeva was appointed head of the department and worked until 2010. Since February 1, 2011, Khajiyeva Iroda Adambaevna, Ph.D. During the past period, about 20 professors and teachers, including 6 candidates of sciences, associate professors, conducted scientific and pedagogical activities in the department. Since the establishment of the department, 3 members of the department received the scientific degree of candidate of science. Since 2013, the name of the department has been changed to "Humanities and Social Sciences" department. Currently, 3 candidates of science, associate professors, 2 senior teachers are conducting scientific and pedagogical activities in the department. The subjects taught at the department are conducted using multimedia systems. E-learning resources and teaching-methodical sets of subjects have been created at the level of demand. The members of the department conduct training on the basis of new pedagogical and information technologies. Until now, more than 100 scientific (including about 10 in foreign scientific journals indexed in Scopus and Web of Science databases) and more than 10 methodological works of the members of the department have been published. is being used in execution. Also, the creation of training manuals and textbooks was started by the experienced teachers of the department. The department has established relations with scientific and educational centers in the republic. Young teachers of the department are conducting scientific research in humanitarian (philology, history, spirituality).
