In the Urgench branch of the Tashkent University of Information Technologies, personnel are trained in such areas as Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Telecommunication Technologies, Information Security and Professional Training in the Field of ICT, as well as undergraduates in "Computer Engineering” and “Telecommunication Engineering”.

At the end of the year 2019, talented students of the Urgench branch of Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammed al-Khwarizmi had many achievements. Mashkhura Ruziboevna was awarded a scholarship named after Muhammad al-Khorezmi.  Artikova Dilnoza Olegovna, a student of the group 922-16 of the Faculty of Telecommunication Technologies and Professional Education, was awarded a scholarship   of the Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan
